Spring Flowers

Morning My crafting Bloggers, to brighten up my day and  thinking ahead to spring and the lovely flowers I decided to make these two cards. They were made very simply by printing off the two designs from the "Flowers & Friendship CR ROM (mentioned in my last post) onto good quality plain white paper and then cut them out using the Spellbinders die also mentioned in my last post.  I then selected the coloured card stock to match the flowers in the designs and adhered the topper to the card with a tape pen. I completed the card with a butterfly and" blinged" them with a couple of pearls. They were completed with a verse inside printed out using word on my pc. Hope you like them

Best wishes and have a good day.

Sympathy Card

Dear Crafting Friends, I hope you like this sympathy card I made very simply by layering some plain black card stock onto my card and onto this I placed a white topper cut with the Spellbinders "Detailed Scallop Die" and onto this a glued a gate cut with the Spellbinders using the "Guilded Gate 2" die from their Shapeabilities  Die Delights range. Prior to adhering the  Gate to the card I applied Pearl moon metallic guilding wax by Creative Expressions to give it a pearly sheen which looks rather pretty. I completed the card with a matching ribbon and sentiment .
Take Care

Baby Girl

Morning Crafting friends, It's a lovely sunny day here in Cardiff and no new babies have arrived as yet but two are expected in the family so we are waiting in anticipation. So on the baby theme I made this card by cutting out some pink card stock with the Grand decorative labels one from spellbinders to give this lovely scalloped, perforated edge to my card. I then used it again to cut out some white card stock and layered this over the top of the pink . I stamped small pink flowers onto the card using stamps taken from a range called Birdhouse by Majestix and left it to dry. I made a topper by printing out a design from Pink Petticoat called "Little baby Buggy" and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir alcohol pens. I then cut out the image with Spellbinders Nestabilities die called "Detailed Scallops" and shaded the edges of the scallops with pink ink from Color Box. To complete the card and give it a little bling, I added some flowers by Papermania capsule collection and some leaves I cut out with a "Marianne" leaf die.The Best Wishes sentiment was made on my Pc using Serif card making programme. Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you

Circle card

Morning Friends, well its sun shining here in Cardiff and todays card was made by cutting out some textured pink card stock  with a Spellbinders Grand decorative circles die. I then cut out two more circles using Shapeability Floral Doily Motif dies  in white and shaded the smallest one whist still in the dies with pink ink. The sentiment was from Pink petticoat. I completed the card with a butterfly cut using a Papillion die from Spellbinders and topped it with a small pearl. Hope you like it. Have a fab Saturday

Friend Card

,
Morning Crafting friends, I hope you have a fab Friday and an even better weekend. Todays card was made using a selection of stamps, masks and inks using a masking technique to produce the main design. To begin with I made the backing paper and I did this by securing  a Creative Expressions mica mask called "Leafy" with has a lovely leaf design over a sheet of plain white paper and using a blending sponge applying a Tim Holtz evergreen ink over it and also to give some depth, shaded it around all the edges. . Once dry I cut it and applied it to the front of my card. On the next layer I drew two lines wide enough apart to take the Friend stamp. I then applied a post it over the upper part of the paper down to the lower of the two lines. I then stamped two leaves on the lower half of the paper and the post it paper. Once dry I then covered the lower half of the paper up to the top line and stamped my Sheena Douglas paint fusion leaves and flowers onto the upper half as shown on the card. The post it paper protects the area where I was going to add the sentiment and makes it look as though the leaves go behind  that area. I then cut it to size and applied it over my backing paper. I then made a topper by cutting out a sentiment from a range from pink petticoat and cut it out using a spellbinders die. I shaded this topper with the same ink I'd used for the backing paper. Finally I added a silk ribbon to complete my card.

Thanks for looking

Grandson card

Evening Crafters, well I cant believe where the week has gone as it's almost Friday already and with so many birthdays this month and two new babies expected as well  it's a busy time for crafting. This card was made for my grandson who went on a fishing trip whilst on holiday and caught several Mackerel  hence this fishing themed card. It was made with my "fishing"digital programme from Daisy Trail and after completing the layout I printed out the design and layered it onto some card stock. I then printed off some of the embellishments and a sentiment from the kit and layered them onto the card to give it added dimension. Hope he likes it.

Hand Stamped Christmas Cards

Morning crafters, todays card is in preparation for Christmas and as I enjoyed using my Majestic stamps yesterday I thought I'd use them today and created this wreath design using Colour Box Inks and added some glitter for extra sparkle topped off with a festive ribbon. I stamped the design onto plain white paper and cut it out with a spellbinders label die and adhered it to the red card stock with adhesive tape.

Digi Card Combination

Morning Crafting friends, whilst on holiday last week I took inspiration from the seaside and used my digital card programme by Serif to design some cards and rather than print them out as a complete card, thought I'd use some of the designs I put together as  toppers for the front of a card. This one was made with a digikit from  Daisy Trail  called "Beaches"  by Karen Gover and after making my own design using the embelishment's and backgrounds from the kit, I printed it out. I then matt and layered it onto my card stock and printed out a sentiment taken from another digikit called "By The Sea -The Good Life" and cut it out with a Marianne die shaded the edges with Tim Holtz distress inks to complement the colours in the card. Hope you like it.

With All my Love

Evening Everyone, well we have returned safely from Pembrokeshire after a lovely weeks holiday We stayed in an apartment overlooking the estuary at St Dogmaels and visited lots of villages and sea side resorts between Dale in the South  and Aberystwyth towards the North. Now home, I set too and made this card using a combination of spellbinders dies to make the toppers and butterfly. The pink spotted paper was printed from a Pink petticoat range of background papers. I stamped the watering can and flower images with Majestix Sweet Birdhouse Peg stamp set and used Memento inks . Any further information needed please ask..
