Sunflower

Evening crafting friends, here is my card for today which was inspired after looking at a picture of a sunflower that my grandaughters grew last year. The french script backing paper was from "Pink Petticoat" and I used Tim Holtz distress ink "Scatterered Straw" to distress the edges after cuting it out with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 29 die. The lace insert was cut out with  "Tattered Lace Victorian Rectangle" die. The sunflower was stamped using a design by "Sheena Douglas" and coloured with Distress Inks as previously mentioned and the leaves were coloured with "Forest Green" ink then cut out and adhered to the card. I made the small bee from my own design and drew it on shrink back pastic and used a heating tool to shrink it to size and fixed it to the flower with silicone gel glue. The "Best Wishes" topper was made in the same method. The "Nature" sentiment was from "Pink Petticoat" and the butterfly was from "Clearly Stamps Butterfly Sorbet" range. Have a lovely Evening....
