Hi All, This is my first attempt at using guilding flakes and hope you like the result. I layered into onto an embossed card which I had shaded with guilding wax to enhance the embossed pattern. The "Wildflower" stencil was from "Sweet Poppy Stencils".

Button Flowers
Hi Everyone. Another simple card using some hand made flowers which were finished with a button and they were made of left over paper stock so not sure what colletion they came from ... sorry. To make the flowers tear 8 squares from of 2 different sorts of patterned paper, you could use more patterns and colours if you wish. Four of the squares were slightly smaller in size and these were to make the inner petals. Fold all the squares into half then into quarters and gently screw them up into a ball then open the papers out again. Tear along the four creases gently toward the middle of the square not quite reaching the centre and then use distress ink to shgade the edges of the paper. take one small square and lay it on top of the larger one and stick together with gluse dot or adhesive of your choice. Add a button to the center and then fluff and crinkle the petals to give a rustic finish. Add sentiment of your choice...See you soon xx

Embossed Tag Card
Hi Everyone, This card was made using up some left overs. I mat and layered some pink card together with a topper cut out with a Spellbinders "detailed scallops"die which always gives a pretty laced edge. On top of that I added a layer of card that I had embossed using Spellbinders MBossibility folder "Quilted Delight". I then stamped the card and heat embossed it with pink embossing powder to give a high gloss effect. To finish the card I added a Tag that I had made previously and made a bow from the string to complete...See you soon..

Keeping it simple
Afternoon Everyone, this card was made simply and is understated. I took some textured beige paper and layered some french text paper from "Pink Petticoat" designs and mat and layered it onto some pearlized card stock. To complete, I used a left over piece of the same beige card to make a tag and centred it horizontally across the card. To complete the ensemble I added a button, some twine and a topper to finish the card. Hope you like it....

Pearl
Hi Everyone, We are half way through the week and I hope your Wednesday is going well. Todays card was the result of an error I made but I hope you like the outcome. I was making a digicard insert and forgot I'd left some pearlised card stock in the printer tray so the sentiment ended up on the front of the pearlised card instead of insert paper. Being a frugal crafter I don't like throwing anything away so I decided to arrange a few flowers and die cuts let over from other projects around the sentiment and this is the resulting card. Thanks for taking time out to view my blog xx

Pretty in pink
Hi just a quick addition, I made these tags today. They were my first attempt at designing them on my pc using My Craft Studio programme that was a christmas gift from the children. I added a bit of bling to the flowers and finished them off with a brad and some twine. Hope you like them.
Lavenders Blue
Afternoon everyone, it looks like rain this evening after a beautiful day. Here is another card I made using a range of spellbinder dies and an embossing folder together with a topper cut using a "Tattered Lace" die. Flowers and leaves were from my stash and the sentiment was from "Pink Petticoat". I hand tied the ribbon and secured with silicone glue. Hope you like it.

Sunflower
Evening crafting friends, here is my card for today which was inspired after looking at a picture of a sunflower that my grandaughters grew last year. The french script backing paper was from "Pink Petticoat" and I used Tim Holtz distress ink "Scatterered Straw" to distress the edges after cuting it out with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 29 die. The lace insert was cut out with "Tattered Lace Victorian Rectangle" die. The sunflower was stamped using a design by "Sheena Douglas" and coloured with Distress Inks as previously mentioned and the leaves were coloured with "Forest Green" ink then cut out and adhered to the card. I made the small bee from my own design and drew it on shrink back pastic and used a heating tool to shrink it to size and fixed it to the flower with silicone gel glue. The "Best Wishes" topper was made in the same method. The "Nature" sentiment was from "Pink Petticoat" and the butterfly was from "Clearly Stamps Butterfly Sorbet" range. Have a lovely Evening....

Rose Stamps
Evening everyone, I just wanted to share two small note cards I made very simply by using an old fashined rose stamp to make the background paper by stamping the impression repeatedly to fill the paper. Then used the same colour ink to stamp the single rose and "With love" sentiment on white card which was then cut out and mat and layered onto the card. Right I'm off to look at some wonderful crafters blogs.....night x
Baby Boy
Hello Friends, its been a mixed Wednesday weather wise with sunshine and showers the order of the day here in Cardiff. I dipped into my "Pink Petticoat" digital backing paper file again to make this "Baby Boy" card. The pram and sentiment were printed onto white paper and shaded with Spectrum Noir dual tipped pens and then I cut it out with a Spellbinders "Detailed Scallops" Die to make the pretty topper. I embelishedthe corner of the card with a mix of hand cut flowers and the buttons were cut using a Spellbinder "Whimsey" die and shaded to match the papers. Have a blessed day.....

Berry Pie
Evening my Blog Friends, well Tuesday has seen rain for most of the day here in Cardiff and it's been on the cool side too. I wanted to share these two nature inspired cards that I have made using Serif Craft Artist that was a lovely gift for my birthday last year. The backing paper, embelishments, flowers and text were all taken from the "Berry Pie" Digikit. After printing, I cut out some of the flowers, leaves and fencing and mat and layered onto the card. I hope you like them and would welcome feedback. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
Fizzy Moon
Evening Friends, these are the latest addition of cards, I used a set of "Fizzy Moon" clear stamps to stamp the design onto watercolour paper and coloured them with "Le Plume" dual tipped watercolour pens. Once dry I cut the card out with Spellbinders Card Creator matting basics die. I used the same set of dies to cut out the different backing and mirror card stock then mat and layered it onto the main card. The "Time to celebrate" "With Love" and " For You" sentiments were stamped onto the cards and heat embossed with silver embossing powder to finish the card. Thank you for taking the time to look.

Angelica & Friends
Hi my blog friends, Hope your Monday has been a good one. I wanted to share these cards which I made from Crafters Companion "Angelica & Friends" card stock. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment was stamped onto white cards stock and I used a Spellbinder Label die to cut it out and whilst the paper was still in place I used the die as a stensil to shade around the edges in a baby pink ink to match the colour of the card and the sentiment. The flowers and leaves were die cut with a "Marianne Creatabe Flower Dies 1 & 2" and attached to the card with sticky glue dots. Hope you like the cards.
Take Care. xx

What really Matters
Hi Friends, sorry for not posting anything yesterday, I don't know where Friday went but I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Here are three cards I put together today . The yellow floral backing paper was hand stamped using a small clear flower stamp and a crackle glaze rubber stamp and Tim Holtz "wild honey" distress ink. Once the paper was dry dry, it was cut to size and glued to the yellow card stock and to complete the cards I attached an assortment of flowers and leaves I'd previously made, from my stash. The butterflies were cut from pearlescent card stock with the Spellbinders Papillon 2 die and I then coloured them to match the rest of the card. Sentiments were from Pink Petticoat and I used spellbinders dies to cut emboss and stencil the sentiments with.
Instead of the floral backing paper I embossed plain card stock using spellbinders "Awsome Blossoms" MBossibility floder and shaded it with a blend of Tim Hiltz distress "Forest Green and Wild Honey" inks.
Thank you for stopping by. x

A Map of Peak District.
Hi everyone, I thought I'd share some pictures of three cross stitch projects I have enjoyed doing in the past, I try and relate them to places I've been to or to things things I like. My current project is of a family of blue tit chicks to remind me of a nest we had in the garden last year. I will post a picture of it once it is completed. See you soon.

Be your own Beautiful
Afternoon Friends, well after the gorgeous bank holiday weather we've the opposite today as its windy and poring with rain. I was hoping to plant some veg but instead spent the morning with my grandaughter singing Abba songs and she got dressed up as Harry Potter for a fancy dress day at school. So after lunch was over and the school run was done i put together this little card using up left over paper from my "Pink Petticoat" stash. The sentiment was from a collection also by Pink Petticoat which I printed and cut out with a Spellbinder die. The flower was a free image from the net which I cut out and layered to make it three dimentional. Hope your having a good day.

Navy & White
Hi Friends, Just wanted to share this card I have made for a relative who is 87 on the 16th of this month. It was made with navy and cream card stock. The background was embossed with MBossibilities die and I matt and layered the centerpieces that I'd cut out with Spellbinders adorning squares and perisian motives dies. The card had a central "Happy Birthday" sentiment that I stamped and then embossed with silver embossing powder. A cream organza bow was used to complete the card. Hope you like it.
