Rugby Fan

Morning crafters, where did the weekend go? I cant believe how time flies by since I retired from work and wonder how I ever found time to fit work into my days. I've had some family birthdays recently and this card was made for my son in law who like me, enjoys rugby. So I hope he liked this card. The recipe is as follows :-

New Baby "Wonderful Washing Line"

Hi crafters, well I am in Baby mode as due to our new arrival but decided on a baby boy theme today. This is a stepper card and I used the following to produce the card:-


Papers from Craftwork cards  "Wonderful washing line" collection.
New Baby Die was cut with Tonic "Roccoco Minature Moments"dies
Balloons and stepper card were cut using a selection of tattered lace die sets

Perfect Patchwork

Hi again, what a wonderful way to do patchwork and I've loved using these tonic dies and paper pad to produce this pretty card. Its so easy when you have the right materials to help you.

Hanging Baskets

Hi Crafters, well spring is upon us and were busy tending the garden and sewing seeds for garden borders and baskets and the thought of those lovely blooms inspired this card. Hope you like it.

New baby

Good Morning Crafters, I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. It's been ages since I added anything to my blog although I have not given up crafting and have been busy card making for myself , family and friends. 

I have also become a volunteer for a Charity www.hedgehoghelplinecymru.org.uk and use my nursing skills on taking care of sick and injured hedgehogs and once they are well we release them back into the wild, so it's a very worthwhile charity as hedgehogs are becoming very rare in the UK.

      We had wonderful new this week as our daughter gave birth to a baby daughter "Holly Elizabeth", so we are now proud grandparent to 8 gorgeous grandchildren and are very blessed.

       This card is my latest card and was made in celebration of our new arrival. Hope you like it.

The Journey

Evening Everyone, well it's been an exhilarating but tiring few weeks but we are finally in our new house and most of the unpacking has been done. There are a few boxes left to unpack, but the washers fitted, the fault on the phone line has been repaired  and the TV aerial is up so it's feeling more like home. So now were are going to take our time and enjoy the journey of getting to know the area and plan what we are going to do in the garden as its all laid to lawn at the moment.
