The Journey

Evening Everyone, well it's been an exhilarating but tiring few weeks but we are finally in our new house and most of the unpacking has been done. There are a few boxes left to unpack, but the washers fitted, the fault on the phone line has been repaired  and the TV aerial is up so it's feeling more like home. So now were are going to take our time and enjoy the journey of getting to know the area and plan what we are going to do in the garden as its all laid to lawn at the moment.

Today's card was inspired by Heartfelt Creations dies, hope you like it....

For You

Hi my fellow crafters, well its been touch and go re our house move and we have been on tender-hooks wondering if  we would get confirmation that the move would definitely take place next week as we should have exchanged contracts on Tuesday and it didn't happen. Our purchaser was having to chase paperwork for her purchaser and it proved difficult and she had lots of sleepless nights.Anyway we have just had confirmation from our solicitor that we will be exchanging, completing and moving all on the same day....Monday...Phew what a relief as we were beginning to think that it wasn't going to happen. So I will be signing off for a few days Have a great weekend....

Digi Sketch Tag Card

Afternoon friends, well we are still waiting to exchange our contracts as someone further up the chain  has requested more paperwork relating to our purchasers sale so she is feeling very frustrated that they have left it till the 98th hour to ask for it. It has a therefore delayed our exchange but fingers crossed the sale till goes through as we are virtually all packed ready and the removals people are due to be here at 8am on Monday morning...I'm not sure what we'll do if it all collapses but were trying to remain positive as no news is good news. Todays card is one I made using some craft card stock and uses a vintage tag and some butterflies and bling from my stash. Hope you all have a craftyliscious day..

Keep you posted...... ;-)

A time for boxes

Evening friends, todays post is all about boxes and I made two for my grand daughters in readiness for birthdays coming up later in the year. I plan on putting in a little something with a bit of bling and sparkle and hope they like them. They were made from hammered cream card stock and cut out using a free online template which had the base and lid. I added two tags and home made flowers from my stash.

Snippets of life, kids, home, love

HI, I hope your weekend was lovely in every way crafting friends... We had a lovely one as we spent 3 nights in the midlands grandson sitting for my daughters three boys who are growing up so fast. Stanley is 10 months old, Rowan is 9 and Tyler is 12 and they had an action packed few days as we took them to  Ironbridge for the day on Saturday then Sunday morning they went to football and then the afternoon was spent tree climbing and exploring the nature reserve we visited after we'd had Sunday lunch together. All in all a lovely weekend..

One for the ladies

Morning everyone, just a quick post on this gorgeous summer day. Its beautiful here in Cardiff and hope you are all enjoying the same. There is a lot to be said for retirement as we had a gorgeous day here yesterday too and met with some close friends for lunch which was lovely and that was followed up with a drive along the coast.
Today though having just done some washing I'm now going to do all the ironing as were off to the midlands tomorrow to look after the grandsons as my daughter is going away for a few days so it will be lovely to spend time with them before we move house. So it may be my last post for a little while. I hope you all have a blessed weekend and catch up with you soon.

Regards Wendy xx
