Filigree Bow

Good evening Friends. I hope you have shared in some sunshine today as we were fortunate to have had a lovely day here in Cardiff. We met  some friends who we haven't seen for a while and caught up with what's been happening with them which was great as it always makes you feel good when you share it with friends. It was my birthday this week and I've been thoroughly spoilt  by my family and todays card was made using one of the new dies that I received  designed by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions and this die is called "Lattice Heart" from the Striplet Collection and is comprised of two dies.  I used both dies together to cut out the first layer in white card, then cut out the second pink layer of card using just the outer die. This gives you the lattice effect top layer and solid pink piece for the underneath layer and the beauty of this is  so you get a neat finish when you adhere them together. I then matt and layered the finished striplet to a topper cut using a Spellbinders  "Detailed Scallop" die. The lovely little bow is also from a new selection designed by Sue Wilson and is a set of 6 dies called "Finishing Touches, Filigree 3D Bow" I topped the bow with a pearl and edged it with pink ink to match the loops on the topper and sentiment. I think you will agree that the dies are beautiful and will complement any other make of dies you have too.

Take care all...
