Morning Friends, Sring has sprung and it's the first time Ive ever grown tulips and look what Ive been missing all these years. The pink ones arent quite ready to open yet but the yellow are in full bloom. How beautiful nature is, God is so good. Sadly no time for crafting today as lots to do to prepare for family coming to stay for the weekend. So looking forward to seeing them all. Have a lovely day.

All things Lavender
Hello Bloggers, what a gorgeous day it is here today, blue skies and wall to wall sunshine has been the order of the day so it was time to get in the garden and do some weeding and tidying up. It gives you a good feeling when you see life bursting out of the earth in abundance, giving you a taster of whats to come.
The morning soon went and it was time to get my grandaughter fed, watered and ready for school, she's enjoyed her morning in the garden and was looking forward to school and the gym club afterwards.
Once home from the school run it was time to do some crafting. I needed to make a card for a friend of ours who's 80 years old on the 5th May. I hope you like the finished product in the picture.
It was made with the following range of Spellbinder products,
MBossibilities Butterfly Kisses folder, Grand Circle Dies.
Stately circle dies.
Anemonie die.
Pappilions 2 butterfly die
Nestability Labels die
Brilliance pearlescent Lavender ink was used to enhance the embossed background, the edges of the circles, the flowers and on the butterfly. Diamonte flowers were added to the flower centers and butterfly to give a bit of bling and a "Happy Birthday" sentiment was stamped to the label and fixed with glue dots to the card. Let's hope she likes it....
Thank you for taking time to look at my blog. :-)

Labels & Tags
Hello Friends, after spending a couple of hours painting woodwork, (we're in the process of decorating the hall), I felt the need to do something more creative and I love Tim Hotz Tags and thought I'd have a go at making some myself. I cut out the tags using a Large Sissix Framelits Tag Die. The card stock were then coloured using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and once dry I added a fancy border and sentiment with a contrasting ink. The flower image were printed onto plain paper, 3 images were needed to make each flower. These were also coloured with distress ink and once dry I stamped them with small stars/dots then cut out the flowers and layered them on top of one another. After gluing each layer together the petals were curled to give a 3D effect and adhered with glue to the Tag. The butterfly was cut out with a Spellbinders Les Paillions - Ornate butterflies die, coloured with matching distress ink and adhered to the card.
Thanks for looking.

Christmas embossing
Hi, another traditional christmas card made. Hand embossed onto a green card aperture card and then the surface was gently rubbed with a shimmer ink to enhance the design. A christmas wreath topper was applied with silicone glue and Happy Christmas sentiment was stamped in the center. Have a lovely day and thank you for looking.
Hand stamped with love
With Love & Best Wishes card made from using a traditional background stamp with black ink onto a white card stock. To give it some colour and dimension I then used a belnd of Tim Holtz distress inks around the edge of the design. It was then matt and layered onto a green cardstock and embelished with a sentiment topper and flower that were also coloured with the distress inks to match the background design.
Thank You For Looking !!.
Christmas card
Christmas is coming so I hand embossed this card using a template and embossing tool, It was then gently rubbed with a pearlescent ink to highlight the pattern and then matt and layered onto red card stock. A stick on sentiment was then added in the center.. One down and lots to go as we have only 238 days to go....
Thank You for looking!!
